Johanna Koskinen, kennel Eswood, was awarded The Finnish Kennel Club's VUOLASVIRTA breeder's prize no 682 for excellent keeshond breeding. This is the highest prize a breeder can get in Finland and was awarded at the international Helsinki Dog Show on December 13, 2008.

At the Helsinki Winner show Eswood Party Mousse became Best Opposite Sex and received the Winner-08 and Juniorwinner title-08.

3.-6. Stockholm, Sweden - World Winner show
The hightligt of the summer was the visit of Donna and Gene Smith (Baronwood) from the United States and the trip to the World Dog Show and circuit shows in Stockholm, Sweden with them. Gene and Donna are very dear friends of mine and have been involved with kees for decades. Donna´s keeshond bitch Ch. Bonnyvale´s S´mply Irresist´ble "Indy" was the #1 Kees in the US in 2007. Eswood Maple Mousse and Keestorpets Ultramarine got to go with us. Ouppies and three adult kees were taken to my parents summer place to a small island. Here are some results and moments from the shows:

Eswood I-litter is born on the 1st of June. Read for more
Eswood Nereida became BOS in the Norwegian specialty in Oslo and is now
international and Norwegian champion. Congratulations Milli and Nessi!
Eswood Numbat became Finnish Champion in Tuuri all-breed show and our
co-owned Lady Godiva's Faye of Eswood won Best of Breed. Our teenager
Eswood Party Mousse won Best Puppy in Breed and enjoyed being in the
ring.

May 16: Official obidience test in Vaasa - Keestorpets Ultramarine
participated his first official obidience test and recieved 160 points,
1st prize which entitles him to compete in the open class.

The judge Steven Seymor
came all the way from Australia to judge our Kees, total entry of 15
Kees.
Lady Godiva's Faye of Eswood, co-owned by Eswood and Storywood won the
tough
competition and became Best of Opposite Sex. Not bad for a girl at her
age!

in Kuopio
51 Kees were entered to the Finnish Keeshond
Specialty 2008 under the Finnish judge Elina
Tan-Hietalahti. The show was very well organized and had a
relaxed athmosphere.
Our
youngest one in the kennel, Eswood Party Mousse, made her debut and
became
Best in Show puppy.
Our
Swedish import Keestorpets Ultramarine won the males and became Best of
Opposite sex.

walk with local Kees
The weather could not have been more perfect to meet with the local
Kees
people. Altogether
17 Kees and 10
people got together for a walk on a sunny Sunday afternoon starting
from the

15-16 December, Stockholm Nordic Winner Show
All together 33 Kees were entered to the Stockholm Nordic Winner Show. The judging was given to Sheilan Jakeman, UK. Our results for the day:
Keesbrook´s Boldy Go, best open class male, 2nd best male, CC, res-cacib.
This should eventually entitle him the International Champion title as well as Swedish Champion
